Seeburgstrasse 35 is located very close to Lake Lucerne. It's a 20 to 30 minutes walk to the centre of Lucerne along the lakeside promenade. There's a bus stop right outside the residence. The bus takes around 10 minutes to reach the centre of town. There are plenty of leisure/recreational amenities in the vicinity, including the Swiss Museum of Transport, tennis courts, swimming in the lake, etc.
The 21 rooms of the Seeburgstrasse residence occupy four floors. Each floor has two shower/WCs.
The rooms are not furnished (except the rooms for exchange students. These are furnished). The room sizes vary between 9.5 m2 and 16.7 m2. They all have internet access and a washbasin with hot and cold water.
The communal rooms and outdoor areas
There is a large communal kitchen on the ground floor with all the necessary appliances and equipment. The ground floor also houses a dining room and a lounge with sofas and a television set. Each of the floors has two shower/WCs used by six residents. The communal facilities comprise a laundry room (with washing machines and tumble dryers), the basement and a bicycle shelter. The garden has a seating area – perfect for barbecues and relaxation.
The monthly rent varies between CHF 400 and 600 according to the room and apartment size (Exchange students pay an all inclusive price for one semester). The rent includes the ancillary costs of heating and hot water, electricity and internet access.
